We'd embark on shopping adventures, exploring fabric stores, immersing ourselves in the vast array of textures and colors. Those precious afternoons ignited a fire within me, fueling my passion for textiles
Textile & Surface Design
My process begins with hand-drawn illustrations using a mix of media, drawing inspiration from nature and cultural influences using different techniques like hand-drawing, painting, or digital tools which I then translate into stunning repeating patterns. Working closely with manufacturers and suppliers, I carefully selecting the perfect fabrics, colors, and printing techniques to ensure the patterns shine. I consider not only the visual impact but also practical factors like texture and durability, depending on the purpose of the fabric.
